What I do

We inspire women business owners to create businesses that matter through small business coaching, consultation, management services and resources. We understand that women run businesses in the context of their lives and need to have a holistic approach to all that they do.

Clients who work with us are inspired to take action and grow their business. We can coach you around the "tough" moments and create a plan of action. Through our resources, we can take on a project that you just can't fit on your plate and complete it on time and within budget.

With our deep background in business and technology, we support you to make sense of business systems, marketing, social media, and more. We can complete your web presence, write your copy and develop your employee and procedure manuals.

We will do what it takes to help you create a business that matters to you.

  • My Story

It wasn't the life I planned, but it's sure been interesting! I have a Masters Degree in Theater from the U. of Michigan. Decided I liked eating more than going to "cattle calls," I started work as a temporary typist in NYC, just when the tech boom was starting. The companies I temped for discovered that I could actually figure things out and lured me into a 25+ year career in technology. I worked and consulted for companies such as IBM, UPS, Principal Financial, Verizon, etc. I helped run an international software users group (IDUG) and was elected the first woman president of the board of directors.

Frustrated with Corporate America, I became a credentialed coach and started my own company. It's morphed through several incarnations and now is well-positioned to provide the wisdom and support that women small business owners need.

    1. I'm So Excited! -- M3 Leadership Board

      November 1, 2009

      Casey Dawes

It's so exciting to be part of the Make Mine a Million Q3 Leadership Board!  And an honor to be in the company of other fabulous women.  M3 definitely helped me get focused on paying attention to my own business, starting exactly where I tell my clients to start -- with financials!  What M3 taught me, though was some additional things I needed to be looking at.  With the help of my bookkeeper, the fabulous Pat Carson of Carson and Crew, I was able to hone in even further on my finanical goals, and correct some missteps.Hiring Pat in 2009 was only the beginning.  I've found a virtual assistant after a great deal of looking and we are in the beginnings of our relationship.  My husband, Ken, the Web Mechanic, has also done some work for me!  The next person I'm searching for is a solid writer who isn't out of my price range. What fun!

    2. Begin with the first step

I took the assessment!  There's always good news and bad news...figuring out where to begin will be the next step.  I definitely need more revenue!
