Please read these instructions carefully before completing the Application.
To participate in the Make Mine a Million $ Business Competition, you must first complete your FREE registration on our website. Click here to register now.
Starting Your Application
Before beginning your application please be sure to thoroughly read through the following sections of the website;

You can download and print the practice application. This will allow you to preview what the application is about. When you are ready to begin your application, log in to the website and click on "M3 Competition Application".
Saving Your Application
Take all the time you need. After beginning your application you will be able to SAVE your application and return as often as you like until you are ready to submit the final version. After completing each page and clicking on the "save & continue", your application will be saved. You do not have to finish the whole application in one session! Revisit your online application as often as you need.
Continuing Your Saved Application
Saved your application and want to finish it? Visit your Personal Home Page to go back to it.
Submitting Your Application
Applicants for each event must submit the completed online application AND all required supplemental information to Count Me In by 5:00pm (Eastern) on the due date in order to be considered for that Event.
When your application is complete, you must submit it. To submit your application, click on “Submit”. When the application has been properly submitted, you will receive a confirmation email reminding you to submit your supporting documents.
Submitting Your Supporting Documents
Required supporting documents include the following and must be submitted in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel formats:
Financial Statements - Historical
- 2008 Profit & Loss Statement
- 2008 Cash Flow Statement
- 2008 Balance Sheet (as of 12/31/08)
Financial Statements – Current
- 2009 Profit & Loss Statement (year-to-date)
- 2009 Cash Flow Statement (year-to-date)
- 2009 Balance Sheet (as of latest date available)
Financial Statements – Projections
- 2009 Profit & Loss Statement (for the remainder of the year)
- 2010 Year-end Profit and Loss Projections
Optional supporting documents:
If you have a Business Plan, marketing materials, product samples or other items that you think will help us understand your business better, you may submit them along with your application. We will do our best to return product samples, but [no guarantee].
You may submit a three minute video using .MOV, .AVI, MPEG4, or QUICKTIME formats. This is your opportunity to pitch your business! If you decide to submit a video,
- You should be the primary person in your video.
- You should give us a glimpse of yourself and your business.
- You should tell us why you should be chosen as a finalist.
- Your video should not exceed three minutes in length.

Complete Application Package
Once Count Me In receives your online Application AND the Required Supporting Documents, you will receive a confirmation email that your application package is complete. If you do not receive this email, your application will not be considered complete.
Once submitted, your online application cannot be modified. If you wish to update or change information in your application, please send an explanatory e-mail to the email address at the bottom of this page, referencing your application ID number.
