Getting Ready - What you need to know before you begin the application.
Before beginning your application, please be sure to review the following sections;

You may view and print a practice application prior to beginning the online application. Click here to print out a practice application for the Make Mine a Million $ Business Competition. Only applications completed on-line at www.makemineamillion.org/competition are accepted. Applications that have been printed, faxed, mailed or emailed will not be accepted.

Your application will not be considered complete unless ALL of the following apply;
- The online portion of your application has been successfully submitted via our website at www.makemineamillion.org.
- Supporting documents must be submitted to Count Me In via email at .
- All of the above must be submitted by the deadline indicated for the event you applying to.
You will need to make the following decisions prior to starting the application.
Which event are you applying for? Applications are solicited and processed throughout the year in conjunction with the schedule of Make Mine a Million $ Business events. On your application you will be asked to select which event you will be applying for. All events are national unless noted otherwise. You will notice that some of our events are "State Wide" events only. This means that only residents of that state can apply to that event. However, if you live in a state in which a "State Wide" event is taking place and wish to apply to a national event elsewhere, you may do so.
Please note that all applicants will be credit scored even though you are not requesting financing at this time.
Deadlines
Applications for the competition are solicited and processed throughout the year in conjunction with schedule of Make Mine a Million $ Business Events. Event dates, and the open application periods associated with each Event, are announced and posted in the Events section of the website. Dates may be subject to modification; any changes will be posted on the website.
Applicants for each Event must submit the completed online application AND all required Supplemental Information to Count Me In by 5:00pm (Eastern) on the due date in order to be considered for that Event.
Applicants/Businesses may only apply ONCE to any single event. Applicants must be owners of the business at the time of notification to the award. If chosen as a finalist for the M3 Competition, but not chosen as an awardee, the applicant must wait for a period of no less than 6 months before re-applying. If you do wish to repapply to the program, you must directly contact Count Me In with your intent to re-apply.
Events
Entrepreneurs from anywhere in the U.S. may apply to our national programs. State programs are open only to residents of said state. Finalists are responsible for travel arrangements and expenses to attend the awards program for their chosen round.
