Isisara has created the Count Me In Leadership Institute, as well as an upcoming workshop series co-branded with Sam's Club. Prior to joining CMI, she was Vice President, Corporate Affairs for SONY BMG Music, directing its non-profit and governmental relationships and employee enhancement strategies. She has a distinctive track record combining an innovative philanthropic vision with best-in-class execution on a range of sophisticated projects.
Bianca Cloutier is the newest member of the Count Me In team. Her passion for small business is rooted in growing up working in her family’s business, Maine Heritage Weavers. During college, she interned with the Vermont Women’s Business Center and studied abroad in France, the Czech Republic, and on a schooner throughout the Eastern Caribbean. At CMI, she assists in program outreach and coordinating M3 Meetups and Webinars. She graduated from Dartmouth College in June 2009 with a BA in Geography.
As Chief Marketing & Communications Officer of Count Me In, Anjula Duggal, brings diverse experience as a multi-channel marketer who has lead web-based expansion initiatives, e-commerce operations, and built online brands. She has extensive experience providing business-to-business marketing solutions and driving small business membership programs.
She was most recently VP Marketing & Site Operations at Retailer Networks Inc, where she oversaw the day to day marketing and operations for GiftandHomeChannel.com, a retailer-specific vertical community. Prior to this she held several Marketing positions at both Sony Music and Universal Music, then moving on to become the Managing Editor at Sessions.edu, a global, online-only school of design. Ms. Duggal is a graduate of New York University.
Jean Hamerman
Jean started her career as a commercial lender at a leading bank. Later she worked as a consultant to community development financial institutions to create debt and equity products. As Deputy Commissioner at the NYC Department of Small Business Services, she overhauled the delivery of technical assistance and promoted government contracting to minority and women-owned businesses. Since joining Count Me In in 2005, Jean has helped shape its strategic direction, executed programs, and developed corporate sponsorships. Structuring winning corporate and business partnerships is her focus. Talk to Jean to underwrite Racers, pilot innovative programs, or invest in CMI and women's entrepreneurial success.
Kevin E. Ien
Kevin joins Count Me In after spending 7 years at Lehman Brothers, Inc. working in such varied areas as the Investment Banking Division, Corporate Real Estate and Diversity Lateral Recruiting. As Executive Assistant his responsibilities include the daily administrative duties of the organization, as well as serving as the personal assistant to Count Me In's President and CEO, Nell Merlino. Kevin has studied at Baruch College, Medgar Evers College and The New York Theological Seminary. As an accomplished singer, he has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and overseas, and is featured on numerous recordings by Grammy and Stellar Award nominated "Godfather of Gospel" Rev. Timothy Wright and The New York Fellowship Mass Choir.
Amy is a rising communications and social media professional whose previous experience includes positions with the Speaker of the New York City Council and the Empire State Pride Agenda. She currently manages CMI’s traditional and web content development and new media strategy. Amy retired from the private sector at 22, after reaching the pinnacle of her corporate career as “the most pleasant receptionist we’ve ever had.” She received a Black Belt in the Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, with which she protects her officemates from poor syntax and tautologies.
Claire Merlino
Since 1983 Claire has been providing fiscal management and accounting expertise to socially and environmentally responsible non-profit organizations in New York City, among them Save the Children, City Arts, The Green Guerillas, and the Radioactive Waste Campaign. In 1999, Claire assisted in the start-up and continues to manage the accounts of Count Me In. From 1994 to the present, Claire has also supported the for-profit company Strategy, Communication, Action in the creation of its public education campaigns, including “Take Our Daughters to Work Day”. An entrepreneur herself, starting in 1972, Claire has started and grown three successful businesses involving wholesale, retail, design and service ventures. Claire holds a B.A. from Barnard College and lives in New York City.
Mary Olushoga
Cori Viles
Cori joined the Count Me In team in 2005 and has contributed to the overall growth of the organization by taking on such roles as Executive Assistant, IT Coordinator and currently Operations Manager. In her role as Operations Manager, Cori focuses on Information Technology, office management and website maintenance. Before joining the Count Me In team, Cori spent 12+ years working in the resort and restaurant industries. Cori holds a degree in Culinary Arts from the Florida Culinary Institute and is currently writing recipes for her cook book. Some of her other interests include exploring (New York), reading and outdoor activities such as photography, biking and hiking.
