Count Me In is seeking a talented Managing Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization. The position consolidates the roles of a Chief Operating Officer and a Chief Financial Officer and places the operational, financial management and human resource functions under a results-driven manager with a track record of success. S/he will also be the point person with the President to the board of directors, managing Board committees and communications. The Managing Director will work collaboratively with the President and other senior staff to guide the organization’s growth. The Director of Development will coordinate and implement income programs on behalf of the organizations goals and objectives to maximize potential and increase support. This position reports directly to the President and assists in her efforts to engage funders, works closely with senior staff and board members, and is full-time. The Development Director oversees relations with – and funding from – corporations and foundations by developing and executing the donation processes, including writing and editing of grants, proposals and reports, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions, and identifying and cultivating prospective foundations.
In addition, the Development Director coordinates all individual giving to the organization. S/he establishes and reports on program objectives, evaluation criteria, and program budgets; adjusts programs with an eye toward overall growth, efficiency, and scalability; and develops programs in ways that create a culture of donor recognition, involvement, and stewardship throughout the organization. New Media and Communications Volunteer/Intern
The Media and Marketing Intern will assist the Manager of New Media and Communications in creating a vibrant, engaged community and promoting our events and programs through social networking on www.countmein.org and other sites. This position includes managing Count Me In’s presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, selecting content to feature, assisting in video production, developing and distributing interactive media, plus some copywriting and support of Count Me In’s conventional PR outreach. Meetup Coordination Volunteer/Intern
We have found that the most impactful way to engage women entrepreneurs in the Count Me In community is through local in-person and informal gatherings called M3 Meetups. M3 Meetups are an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to find business answers, accountability, new clients, and guidance. Most importantly, Meetups provide women business owners an outlet, other than their families and friends, where they can share their ideas, challenges, and successes with other women who are navigating similar entrepreneurial landscapes.
